Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a trip to Chateau Elan Winery and Spa. When we checked in the room was big and the decor was warm and inviting. They had rose petals on the bed as well as in the tub. There was a bottle of wine, bubble bath and candles for later. It was really romantic. There was chocolate covered strawberries. We did the wine tour a few hours later. It was very informative and it was fun trying the different wines although my husband and I don’t really drink. We liked the sweet fruity wines the best. We found out they are called the dessert wines. We had 2 different bottle shipped home before we left. After the tour we enjoyed the room and later we had reservations at the steak restaurant on the grounds. The next morning at 9am we checked into the spa and were given robes to wear until we were called for our facials and massages. We ate breakfast in our robes at the spa restaurant and it tasted great. We then walked outside and laid on the daybed that is near the lake. Then our names were called for our services. When I finished I got in the sauna and the hot tub. We shopped at the store in the spa. We went back to our room around 2 to 3pm. We were so r

I booked for two experiences in one day and was assured multiple times by different staff that it would be close but do-able. When we arrived it was anything but that. The tasting started late and went over the expected time frame, which caused us to be late for our spa experience. The worse part is we missed out on most of our spa experience because we had to wait 30 mins for a shuttle that never came. When we got to the spa I explained everything to the gentleman at the front desk and he stated there was nothing that could be done even if it wasn't our fault, we were welcome to enjoy our remaining 20 minutes. As we were getting situated one of the masseuses offered to get the manager. The spa manager didn’t have the decency to come and talk to us during any of our time at the facilities, nor were we greeted or checked out. If I knew this chaos would ensue and there were such β€œβ€strict policies”” for the spa I absolutely would not have booked any activities with this establishment and I could've taken my business elsewhere. With all things accounted for your staff needs to be retrained on customer satisfaction/support, timeliness, communication, and transparency. Offering 30% off

The resort was beautiful! Tilton was wonderful as we arrived and assisted with our baggage and a quick tour to our room. Our suite was beautiful, but the bedding was horrible. The room temperature was set to 72 when we checked in and with daily temps of 86, a call to engineering, it took 2 days to get a room temp Of 68 which was only comfortable. The spa experience was exceptional. Rodney was amazing!! The massage was as so good! The food was so good at Paddy’s. The service in the hotel was less than amazing because of a large wedding which apparently exhausted the staff from other restaurants on property. We enjoyed our weekend, but expected so much more for the expense .
